Our hotel has been awarded the Green Key certification, a demanding distinction that recognizes establishments committed to a rigorous approach to environmental sustainability.
The certification is reassessed every year against increasingly stringent criteria, encouraging us to continually improve and strengthen our initiatives in the heart of the “City of a Hundred Spires.” More than a recognition, it provides a framework that guides our decisions and encourages us to go even further, alongside Normandy-based partners and organizations who share the same high standards.

Our lighting has been switched to LED, while our common areas and corridors are equipped with motion sensors, helping us adjust energy consumption as closely as possible to actual usage.

a second life
Every day, we give unsold food a second chance through our Surprise Bags, in partnership with Too Good To Go.
Tons of CO₂e avoided through this initiative, helping to reduce the hotel’s overall carbon footprint.

Reducing our impact,
one step at a time
Waste sorting is part of our daily routine, and we have banned single-use plastic throughout the hotel. At breakfast, our jams, butter, cereals, fromage blanc and skyr are available in bulk, helping to reduce unnecessary packaging. A Brita water fountain is also available in the lobby, allowing you to refill your bottle as often as you like.
Thanks to our partnership with Rouen Metropolitan Area, our team members benefit from a discount on public transport passes. A simple way to encourage more sustainable everyday travel, for both our team and the Normandy region.
Our jams, smoothies and lemonades are purchased from Sains & Sauf, a solution that gives a second life to fruits and vegetables that might otherwise go unsold. A concrete way to help fight food waste, right down to the details of your breakfast.

We foster team spirit through moments of sharing and togetherness: a staff evening with gifts and vouchers, a homemade Christmas snack prepared entirely by the team, with gifts for the children, and a team lunch every two or three months, prepared by our employees themselves.
🛠️ Making everyday work easier for our teams
Comfort at work also means having the right tools. Our housekeeping floors are equipped with Levly and Fixacouette, and our work trolleys were completely refurbished this year by our technician, making everyday tasks simpler and more comfortable for everyone.

Whenever possible, we choose local and regional products to help you discover the flavours of Normandy throughout your stay.
🍯 At breakfast, we showcase local producers: honey from the Rucher de Cantiers, jams from La Ferme des Peupliers, coffee from Couleur Café and creations from Huète’Ca.
🥐 At the Gourmet Shop, you can also find local specialities such as organic, gluten-free granola from L’Atelier Nature & Gourmand, Les Deux Amants beer, products from Domaine Duclos-Fougeray, and creations from Les Mitonnés Normands.
